E-Resources
IUS Library services provide access to several commercial and noncommercial electronic resources (e-resources) to support its students and academicians in their studies, during their research and teaching processes.
E-resources are subject to the copyright law, just like printed materials and their use is also governed by the license agreements that IUS signs with publishers when arranging electronic access.
E-resources available at IUS are accessible only through the IUS network, inside the premises of the IUS Campus.
With those e-resources it is allowed to:
- Make limited print or electronic copies of articles, and limited sections of the books,
- Use them for personal, instructional or research needs,
- Share it with IUS teachers, staff and students,
- Post links to a specific content.
It is not allowed to do:
- Systematic printing, copying or downloading (such as journal issues or books),
- Selling or re-distributing content,
- Sharing with people out of IUS,
- Posting actual content or articles to web sites.

BioOne Complete provides access to a full-text database of current scholarly research in the biological, ecological and environmental sciences. The database contains access to over 190 high-impact research journals from 136 not-for-profit society publishers, with over 125,000 full-text articles and it is growing daily. It covers following subjects: Biological, ecological, and environmental sciences. More than three-quarters of the subscribed titles are ranked in Thomson Reuters' Journal Citation Reports, and 45% are available online exclusively in BioOne Complete.

The Edward Elgar Publishing Journals Collection includes seven leading peer reviewed journals in law, economics, and management and leadership studies. The Edward Elgar Publishing Development Studies e-book Collection includes access to 288 Development Studies and Development Economics titles published in 2015 or before. This is an interdisciplinary collection of books covering many areas of development studies including finance, economics, innovation studies, infrastructure development, health, corporate governance, public and social policy, migration, research methods, intellectual property, legal reform and more. The collection includes scholarly monographs, handbooks and reference books. Access to Edward Elgar's Journals and Development Studies eBooks for International University of Sarajevo has been set up on Elgaronline.

The New England Journal of Medicine (NEJM) is a weekly general medical journal that publishes new medical research findings, review articles, case reports, and editorial opinion on a wide variety of topics of importance to biomedical science and clinical practice. The New England Journal of Medicine publishes content with an emphasis on internal medicine and sub-specialty areas, including cardiology, emergency medicine, endocrinology, gastroenterology, hematology/oncology, immunology/allergy, infectious disease, nephrology, neurology/neurosurgery, pulmonary, and rheumatology.

ASTM Compass includes access to a full collection of ASTM's industry-leading standards, 1,700 technical e-books, 8 journals and assorted research information. Used by over 2,000 universities worldwide including 90% of The Times Higher Education's Top 100 universities it is a key resource for undergraduate students, professors/teaching staff, post graduates and researchers. ASTM Compass covers a vast range of subjects including (but not limited to) aerospace, chemical, civil engineering, environmental, geological, health and safety, mechanical, nuclear, petroleum, soil science, materials science, laboratory testing and solar.

The IOPscience Standard Package includes 45 high impact journals published by IOP Publishing, with archival access to the past 10 years. The IOPscience Premium Package gives access to 114 journals, with the archive including all past issues. SUBJECT COVERAGE: Biological physics, chemistry, engineering, environment, mathematics, medical physics, physics.

Dart Europe E-theses
This is a database allowing access to 478659 open source theses from 55 universities belonging to 28 European Union countries. DART-Europe is a partnership of research libraries and library consortia who are working together to improve global access to European research theses. DART-Europe is endorsed by LIBER (Ligue des Bibliothèques Européennes de Recherche), and it is the European Working Group of the Networked Digital Library of Theses and Dissertations (NDLTD).

National Databases
The databases being set up by ULAKBIM are in five different fields: Health Sciences, Engineering and Fundamental Sciences, Social Sciences and Humanities, Life Sciences and Law. The articles are indexed by professionals in the field using terminology based on thesauri. In addition to bibliographical information, the databases also include full-text journals with which subscription agreements have been signed.
